出國之後心態和生命中事情重要性的排序變得很不一樣，以前總是不願意花時間在很多我自認為“無顯著意義“的事情上（比如說...系上活動、人際關係、了解台灣等等），最重要的似乎就是唸書；不過其實現在我發現從不一樣的人身上（不同性別、不同國籍、不同背景、不同意識形態等等）可以學到很多書本上不會教的東西，不論是課外書或是教科書都一樣。比如說，真的花時間去跟我自己相處，去了解我自己想要的東西；去了解人際互動中微妙的邏輯，很多時候線索不是不存在，而是我一開始不很留意，到現在我什麼線索都難以察覺了。但是其實利用一點觀察力和頭腦，很多事情都可以發現the hidden pattern... 最重要的是“活“的不太一樣--- 真正的去正面自信積極面對每一天。
